Before Trisha’s Daughters became a movement, it was a family — seven sisters shaped by generational trauma, silence, survival, and unbreakable bonds.
Each daughter carries her own story.
Each voice matters.
Together, they represent the truth that healing does not happen alone.

Trisha represents the women who carried heavy lives, raised children through hardship, and survived generational wounds while doing the best they could with what they were given. Her life reflects the complexity of motherhood shaped by trauma, survival, love, and resilience.
She is the root of generational healing.

Yvette is an experienced educator with over 10 years in the field of education with four years teaching at a charter school. She currently resides with her husband and three children, who serve as her greatest source of motivation and grounding. Throughout her career, Yvette has been deeply committed to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally, drawing from both her professional training and lived experiences. Having overcome personal trauma and abuse, I approach my work with empathy, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the power of healing and growth. My experiences have shaped my mission to help others find their voice, reclaim their strength, and live authentically. I believe that truth-telling and self-reflection are essential pathways to freedom and transformation. My long term goal is to continue living in my truth while traveling and expanding my impact beyond the classroom—using my story, voice, and work to inspire healing, empowerment, and purpose in others.

Shatora “Sha Sha” Diamond is married to her wonderful husband of 16 years, Lee Diamond, Sr. She is the proud mother of three amazing children and the loving Nana to her cherished grandbaby.
She works as an Executive Assistant in the Justice Services Division at the Department of Mental Health, serving with compassion and dedication. Her career is driven by a deep sense of purpose — supporting systems that promote healing, accountability, and hope. Sha Sha also faithfully serves as a Children’s Sunday School and Children’s Church teacher, and finds great joy in nurturing young minds.
Together, she and her husband are proud owners of General Lee’s BBQ, where one of her favorite hobbies is serving and feeding others alongside her husband through their signature smoked foods.
Sha Sha embodies the spirit of Trisha’s Daughters — strength rooted in love, faith lived through service, and a heart dedicated to building brighter futures for others.

Elaine is a college graduate, proud mother of four, and the devoted Nana to a grandbaby who has completely stolen her heart. A veteran who served the majority of her military career in Germany, Elaine carries both strength and gentleness in the way she moves through the world.
Her life is rooted in service — from wearing the uniform overseas to continuing her calling today in law enforcement — always guided by a deep sense of responsibility, protection, and care for others.
Elaine finds peace in journaling, drawing, and pouring love into arts, crafts, and handmade creations — turning quiet moments into meaningful expressions.
Elaine embodies the spirit of Trisha’s Daughters — resilient, reflective, creative, and unwavering in her commitment to family, service, and healing. She is a reminder that laughter is good for the soul, and that beauty can rise from even the most demanding paths.

Patrice “Tree” Cannon is the author of Trisha’s Daughters and the visionary behind the healing movement Let Healing Be Heard.
Born into generational trauma and raised in survival, Patrice learned early how to be strong before being safe. Like so many survivors, she carried silent wounds, unspoken stories, and inherited pain — until she made a conscious decision to break cycles and choose healing.
Trisha’s Daughters is her truth.
Let Healing Be Heard is her purpose.
Through storytelling, trauma-informed education, and sacred healing spaces, Patrice has dedicated her life to amplifying survivor voices, restoring emotional safety, and creating pathways for women to reclaim their story, their voice, and their wholeness.
She is not just telling a story — she is building a movement.
And through her voice, silence is finally being broken.

Keisha currently works as a special education teacher. She is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. It has been a dream for her to teach abroad. She enjoys being an auntie, and currently in the market for a kitten.

I am a devoted mother to an amazing son, mediator, and educator passionate about helping families and individuals navigate conflict with compassion and clarity. I grew up in poverty and faced neglect from an early age, experiences that taught me resilience but also left me searching for understanding and connection. Through those challenges, I discovered the power of transformation—the ability to turn even the hardest circumstances into growth, empathy, and hope.
After more than 20 years in education, I followed my calling to help families and individuals navigate conflict in ways that restore trust and strengthen relationships. I founded Mindful Mediations to create a safe, supportive space where people can work through disagreements, rebuild connections, and move forward with clarity and peace. My journey—from hardship to growth, from conflict to clarity—guides everything I do, and I believe every challenge can become an opportunity for transformation and lasting connection.
I hold a B.A. in Journalism and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma. I also attended Pepperdine University’s LL.M. program in Dispute Resolution. My approach combines professional expertise with warmth, empathy, and a deep commitment to family, making me a trusted guide for anyone seeking to transform conflict into connection —the ability to turn even the hardest circumstances into growth, empathy, and hope.
